Q) What is the team philosophy?
A) "Learning through competition" – The goal is to strengthen the fundamentals and team play concepts necessary for success at the next level. Playing time will be earned through attendance and performance at both practices and games. Game situations will cause individual playing time to vary from game to game, but players who attend games and practices should average at least one quarter per game.
Q) When will tryouts be?
A) February 8, 10 and 19 at Twin Groves Junior High
Q) Where will the practices be held?
A) Buffalo Grove area, locations will be finalized before tryouts.
Q) When will the practices be held?
A) 2008 practice schedules will be finalized before tryouts.
Q) What are the tournament dates?
A) here are tournaments with openings EVERY weekend from March - June. 2008 schedules will be determined after teams have been chosen.
Q) Where will the tournaments be?
A) We will keep everything within in a reasonable drive. Nothing should require an overnight stay.
Q) When will payment be due?
A) We will ask for a $50 deposit at tryouts and the rest of the payment will be due on March 1st.
Q) Is the $50 deposit a tryout fee?
A) The $50 deposit at tryouts is NOT a tryout fee - it will be refunded if the player is not offered a place on a team roster. This deposit enables us to guarantee the funds for gym rentals and uniforms.
Q) What are the costs of the program?
A)
6th grade team will be $350,
7th grade team will be $425,
8th grade team will be $485
These fees include practices and tournaments. Uniforms (shorts and jersey) will be $60. Returning players may use uniforms from previous seasons.
